Aston Villa have pulled off a sensational 7-2 victory over reigning Premier League champions Liverpool, with Ollie Watkins scoring a perfect hat-trick.
Watkins' goals came in the 4th, 22nd and 39th minutes, giving Aston Villa a commanding lead at half-time. Liverpool fought back in the second half with goals from Mohamed Salah and Diogo Jota, but Watkins' third goal completed his hat-trick and sealed the win for Villa.
The result is a major upset and sees Aston Villa move up to second place in the Premier League table, while Liverpool drop to fifth.
